For more than 85 years, the American Red
Cross of Greater Columbus has been saving lives with
preparedness and safety programs. The Red Cross strives to respond to the health and safety concerns of
Americans at home, in school and in the workplace. Today’s
innovative programs also include teaching lay persons and
professionals how to use automated external defibrillators (AED)
to save victims of sudden cardiac arrest. Last year, over
40,000 area residents enrolled in American Red Cross
preparedness and safety solution courses.
